Shared from the CEO of Where ART Lives-Santa Fe -Kimberly Conrad

Our Santa Fe trip is off to a great start!!

Mom and I headed out about 8:00 a.m. to Colorado Springs to pick up Susan Fowler.
Finding our Casita was an adventure in itself, with our obnoxious gps lady telling us to take a turn every few minutes!!

Finally checked in, then off to the Plaza Cafe for Carne Asada tacos and their famous Butter Cake.
What is butter cake you ask?? Well, I am not sure exactly....I have only ever had it here in Santa Fe, every trip....it melts in your mouth....I am pretty sure it's basically butter, sugar, milk and some special flour, but oh.......they have a special secret of some kind.

mmmmmmm....... hot butter cake with vanilla ice cream and whipped cream
More tomorrow.....not more butter cake....more sharing!!:)

A Thought for Today.......
